Turns out my first trip to Europe was pretty much fantastic. Good combo of people, things, and activities, including an epic-for-me bike trip through the countryside near the sea. Very, very nice. I'll be coming back. | | |

Watching Sue graduate from her construction class. Cool for here and I hope it works out on the job front.
Though, "11000 students have passed through the adult education program" makes it sound like an intestine.

| Nice blade yesterday, 15 miles unplanned. Good weather, saw some girls chasing seagulls which brought back fond memories... I need to get some proper skates, though. I have a comfortable, slow, broken pair and a less comfortable, fast pair. I want to keep comfortable and fast, and ditch the rest.

Seeing a conference participant's watch set on 4am when it's 9 here at the conference is a poignant reminder of the idea that distance matters, even when you're together. | | |
